KG, operator of the largest independent German self-publishing platform with over 15 years of history, and StreetLib S.r.l., a leading digital-first publishing platform serving hundreds of publishing companies across Europe and the United States, today announced a strategic partnership aimed at shaping the future of publishing through close collaboration.
This partnership combines the strengths of both companies to provide authors and publishers worldwide with cutting-edge content publishing capabilities. The BookRix platform has already opened the door to self-publishing for numerous creative authors and achieved top rankings in the eBook charts of major sales channels such as Amazon, Thalia and Apple. StreetLib brings expertise in international digital distribution and the development of state-of-the-art publishing platforms and technologies to the partnership.

With this operation, StreetLib would be acquiring 100% of the shares of both German companies BookRix GmbH & Co. KG and Zeilenfluss Verlagsgesellschaft mbH.
This acquisition is in line with the evolution of the publishing market in times of strong self-publishers, new publishing models and an increasingly important creator industry.
